A truly an experience beyond my imagination, I got to record at Skywalker Sound for two days. They do not allow pictures and videos inside any buildings, but they allowed it because we had the main recording room during our time there. HISTORY

The principal operation of the facility is as a motion picture sound mixing and recording facility. For more than a generation, Skywalker Sound has created soundscapes that have redefined aural immersion. With origins based in Ben Burtt’s landmark work on 1977’s Star Wars, Skywalker Sound specializes in sound design, mixing, and audio post-production across multiple mediums.

In September 1978, George Lucas purchased the first parcel of land, and named it Bulltail Ranch, which in subsequent years became Skywalker Ranch.
